Today, Dr. J. L. Hutchinson Jr., 43 yrs old, A.K.A. “Dr. Hutch” manages his companies, joint ventures and projects in the United States and abroad. Currently Dr. Hutchinson is working on the initiative started by the First Lady of The United States of America, Michelle Obama, to bring fresh fruits to the inner city through establishing local grocery stores in Cleveland, Ohio, Winder, Georgia and San Diego, California. His ministry, Christian Crown Ministries, has started a program to educate African-Americans in entrepreneurship and personal development. Dr. Hutchinson's goal, within five years, is to successfully establish 250 people in business.
Through hard work and dedication, Dr. Hutchinson has become a successful businessman and community leader who has helped many people reach their full potential in achieving their goals.
He is an award winning businessman, life coach, entrepreneur and minister. As a Christian, Dr. Hutchinson's business practices and advice are all derived from biblical principles. Dr. Hutchinson's passion and determination are evident as he strives to help his clients better their lives by giving them biblical solutions to their problems and pushing them toward Christ. Dr. Hutchinson's' ultimate vision and desire is to see the Kingdom of God furthered through his business & ministry.
Born Jimmy Lee Hutchinson Jr in Talladega, Alabama, Dr. J.L. Hutchinson Jr. moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he was raised by his mother Rev. Helen R. Hutchinson-Roddy and his step-father George Roddy Jr. Dr. Hutchinson attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from Law and Public Service Magnet High School in 1987, where his peers voted him - Most Likely to Succeed. This school was the turning point for Dr. Hutchinson in his late teen years. The OWE program at the high school opened many doors of opportunity for the young entrepreneur. Through OWE, he was afforded the opportunity to work for Fay,Sharpe,Beall,Fagan,Munnich and McKee law firm in downtown Cleveland. In 1987, Dr. Hutchinson became a high school graduate, husband and teenage father to Jimmy Lee Hutchinson III. Family life was now a norm for the young student and businessman.
Dr. Hutchinson left the law firm to become a computer operator at Provident Bank in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. While still continuing his entrepreneurial spirit, Dr. Hutchinson started two successful ventures. While attending Dyke College in 1989, Dr. Hutchinson felt the weight of family, work, business and school and decided to join the United States Navy where he was stationed in San Diego, California. In 1992, Dr. Hutchinson found himself divorced and the father of 3 sons; Jimmy III, Jermaine, and Jamal.
In 1993, Dr. Hutchinson received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy. In that same year, Dr.Hutchinson became the president of Aqua-Safe Services; a water Filtration company co-founded by Dr. Hutchinson & Steven Scott Pitt in 1992 in San Diego, California.
Dr. Hutchinson took advantage of the GI bill attending Distance Learning Courses, attending San Diego State University, Kelsey Jennings College, National University and Southern California Bible College & Seminary.
After spending a few years in the United States Navy and fighting in the Persian Gulf War. This decorated sailor took his fight to the community. Dr. Hutchinson got involved with Mid-City Youth in City Heights of San Diego, California to stop eminent domain from taking 254 homes in this community. As a young Pastor at Fairmount Baptist Church 1998 - 2001, Dr. Hutchinson started his ministry Christian Crown ministries mentoring young men & women to become businessmen.
By age 29, Dr. Hutchinson founded, Tricomm Worldwide in San Diego, California, a real estate investment-consulting firm that teaches its clients how to become real estate investors while providing several other valuable services. Since it is founding, Tricomm's clients have daily-sought Dr. Hutchinson's advice not only in their business, but in their personal lives as well. Several clients of Dr. Hutchinson achieved a net worth of $1 million.
In 2005, Dr. Hutchinson started his radio career in broadcasting. He founded a couple of local radio shows in San Diego, California. “The Dr. Hutch Show Plan for Impact” became one of the most popular shows in the California market with international appeal. This also led the birth of Dr. Hutch International - Real Estate & Business Development firm.
Tricomm Worldwide & Dr. Hutch International have worked on and been involved behind the scenes on many projects. Like the redevelopment of Downtown Kansas City, Mo., Downtown Phoenix, AZ and property preservation project around the country.

Dr. Hutch's radio show, "PLAN FOR IMPACT", broadcast on KPRZ Radio (1210 AM) from San Diego. He also made regular appearances on the Public Television Network. When Dr. Hutch is on the air, the switchboard is always jammed with callers seeking his expertise on their own personal problems.
Dr. Hutch's extensive knowledge and experience stem from his twenty-plus years spent in the personal/business trenches helping thousands of people combat their own personal problems and giving hope to those who felt their situation was hopeless.
There may be several "so-called" professional experts out there, but only a few of them could actually TEACH others what they know. Out of those few who may have the ability, even fewer still would have the desire to educate the public.
It is indeed a rare thing to find a genuine expert like Dr. Hutch, who not only has the ability, but also the empathy and desire to communicate his knowledge to others effectively.
